Located within the sacred Blue Belt Wildlife Sanctuary, full of hidden beaches and contoured cliffs along crystal clean ocean water. Most tours are lucky enough to spot sea lions, dolphins, whales, exotic fish and more.

We love beginners. No prior kayaking experience necessary but you must be able to swim and have a healthy love for the ocean.

What to Expect:
We meet on a private seaside in North Laguna, your guide will provide a safety brief in accordance with the Water Safety Authority and paddle basics. Then we launch into the calm, protected Fisherman’s cove and paddle out hugging the dramatic shoreline and travel by coves and beachfront mansions. We'll paddle though pacific kelp beds and learn about the precious ecology and wildlife, over hidden reefs, and see marine life such as Garibaldi (our California state fish), harbor seals, pacific sea lions, bottlenose and common dolphins. Depending on the season, you might spot a gray or humpback whale!
Afterwards you will feel energized and ready for the rest of your sun drenched day in Laguna Beach, CA! Our guides always provide the best advise for local cuisine and various levels of entertainment, ranging from hikes to surf lessons. Be sure to ask about what's happening in the Art Festival or local downtown.
FAQ
What should I wear while kayaking?
-We recommend wearing classic beach attire. Whatever you do, don’t wear denim :) During the winter months, we recommend wearing layers. Ideally sunglasses & a hat. Bring sunscreen and water :)
Note that your life vest keeps your very insulated while kayaking or stand up paddling. Many guest worry about getting cold on their tour. Most guest end up feeling a bit warm since paddling increases your core body temperature. Yay!
Is there a place for me to store my belongings while kayaking?
-Yes. You can lock up phones, shoes, and key fabs in our kayak truck before walking down to our scenic launch cove.
We have plenty of storage space for any other belongings as well. We always lock our kayak truck before heading out to sea:)
Can I bring my phone?
-Yes! If you own a waterproof case. We also have waterproof phone cases for sale at $5 a piece. Your guide will also bring their phone to take photos of you and your group while out on the water.
Where do I park?
-Parking is located near 631 Cliff Drive at parking meters. Free parking is also available anywhere that is not blocking someones driveway. Pro tip, arrive early for free parking:)
How early should I arrive prior to my kayak or stand up paddle tour?
-In the summer months we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to find parking. There is always ample parking above coast highway in the neighborhoods which is only a 5 minute walk away from 631 Cliff Drive - our meeting location.
What if I am late to my tour?
-Our tours are often completely booked and your tour will embark at your scheduled time. Since our tours have limited availability, we end up turning down many guests. Refunds are not issued for late arrival guest or same day cancelations. If you wish to reschedule your activity, we require a 24 hour notice.
What if my tour gets canceled?
-We rarely cancel tours or surf lessons however, due to constantly changing ocean conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any activity due to dangerous winds and high surf advisories. In this case, we will attempt to reschedule your activity. We will submit a full refund to you if rescheduling your activity is not possible.
What if I need to cancel my stand up paddle or kayak tour?
-Please cancel your tour or surf lesson within 24 hours of departure for a full refund. Cancellations occurring less than 24 hours before your scheduled activity date will not be refunded.
Will I get wet kayaking?
-Some days yes, some days no! On most days you can expect to get wet up to your knees while entering your kayak. Some days your entire lower body can get soaked. Its all part of the fun! We recommend bringing an extra pair of clothes to change into after your kayak or stand up paddle tour.
